Day 1
We leave Cape Town and travel over
Sir Lowry's Pass, via Elgin to Swellendam.
We explore this historical town and the
Drostdy Museum before we stop for lunch in
Barrydale. We then continue on to Oudtshoorn
for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Optional: Lunch in Barrydale.

Day 2
Today we enjoy a morning tour of the
Cango Caves in Oudtshoorn and visit the
Cango Cheetah and Crocodile Ranch before we
stop for lunch at Highgate Ostrich Farm. The
afternoon is spent touring the farm and
ostrich rides are available for the very
brave! Dinner and overnight accommodation is
in Oudtshoorn.

Day 3
We drive through the magnificent
Outeniqua Pass to George where we board the
Outeniqua 'Choo-Tjoe' steam train, for one
of the world's most picturesque rail
journeys on our way to Knysna. We arrive in
Knysna for lunch at a scenic look out spot,
'The Heads'.
After lunch we board the John Benn Ferry for
a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Tonight's
overnight stop is either in Knysna or
Plettenberg Bay.
Optional: Lunch at Knysna Heads.

Day 4
Early morning takes us to the
beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. We take
a hike to Storms River Mouth from where we
can admire the view of the Indian Ocean from
a suspension bridge. We make our way back to
Knysna for lunch. After lunch, we make our
way back to Cape Town along the scenic N2.
For those continuing on to Port Elizabeth, a
driver/ guide from our Port Elizabeth
office will transfer you to your next
destination.
